Instructions

The "Purpose of the Self" pages attempt to describe the purpose of each word by defining a relationship between a single topic and the reader.

For example, if frustration is one of the readers experiences, frustration must have a relationship to the reader. Therefore, what are one's goals in relationship to frustration? Should one want to achieve frustration or overcome it? The "Purpose of the Self" pages try to resolve these kinds of relationships and answer these types of questions.

The method used to demonstrate these relationships is to include them in phrases. Each phrase specifies a goal and the topic. The description is further enhanced by linking a goal to its definition, describing what the goal is.
